- What's
that golden glow about 20 yards down a steep slope ?
|
|
| |
 |
|
| |
Upon
closer inspection it appears to be a mushroom... |

Yes-Indeedy
boys and girls, a genuine Chanterelle pokin' up out of the hemlock/laurel
forest floor within 100 yds of Ramseys Draft. What a hoot! |

Soaked in
cool salt water for enough time to remove the various critters, rinsed and
allowed to dry. |

The best
is yet to come...yum, yum... |

What a
treat! Thanks "JM"... and "E" too (for the Scallops and Striped Bass
that accompanied the mushrooms),
another sort of twisted variation of Surf and Turf Western Virginia
style...too much good. |
